Jibon Tari, currently anchored at Kaliganj Upazila of Gazipur district, celebrated 27 years of serving poor riverine people on 10th April, 2026. Launched on 10th April, 1999, at Mawa Ghat of Munshiganj district, on the bank of the river Padma, the Jibon Tari has been in over 35 locations across Bangladesh’s riverine districts since its inception. We acknowledge with deep appreciation and sincere thanks to the Government of Bangladesh, and all well-wishers and supporters for their continued support and cooperation.
