At the beginning of the year, a week-long program was arranged in observance to highlight the importance of early detection and raise awareness about Glaucoma, a leading cause of irreversible blindness. The Glaucoma week, which is celebrated worldwide during the second week of March marks the importance of early detection and screening. As part of the initiative, IFB’s Chuadanga program arranged a rally, and 58 patients were screened by an ophthalmologist for glaucoma.
