SJW Assistive Device Centre
The Sir John Wilson Assistive Device Centre (SJWADC) was named after the late Sir John Wilson, CBE, DCL. Established in 2004 and located in Chuadanga district, the centre has been providing specialized rehabilitation services, including orthopedic and prosthetic devices, as well as physiotherapy support by trained professionals.
The sole physiotherapy unit in the district has established trust among people living in Chuadanga and the neighboring district for its quality care and life-changing services. In its early years, the centre operated from a small space dedicated to the IMCHC facility. With the expansion and demand of physiotherapy services, IFB has since dedicated a large part of the original hospital building solely for SJWADC services.
The assistive device centre has been restoring mobility, independence, and dignity for people with physical disabilities.
